How does Symmetryk organize content?

The flexibility of Symmetryk allows companies to organize their content in many ways. Menus can be segmented by product, location, audience, use-case scenario, media type… Almost any menu structure is possible.

Is Symmetryk an e-detaling platform?

No, we are not doing “e-detailing”, nor do we aspire to.
We aspire to help field-forces, medical sales liaisons, key account managers and other customer-facing staff work better with mobile technology. We aspire to render mobile technology at the service of customer-facing staff, so that they can optimise their face-time with their clients. And we aspire to help companies retain their “license to operate” by rendering that process compliant.
In other words, we’re focused on the basics.
But we do allow you to deploy an e-detail aid from our platform, if you really want to.

Can we purchase only some modules?

Yes. you can acquire the modules you need, Symmetryk is a customized platform, according to your company guidelines.

Is the connection with Okta mandatory?

No, Okta is not required. If you don’t have an Okta account, you can choose the classic connection.

Is there a limit to how much content we can upload?

No, you can upload or download as many documents, images, files as you like, without any size limitation.

What files does Symmetryk support?

Symmetryk supports most popular file formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .svg, .mp4, .mov, .m4v, .pdf, .ppt, .pptx, .doc, .docx, .zip, .html, .xls and .txt.

What happens to the Symmetryk content if we terminate an employee?

You can instantly delete all contents from Symmetryk Briefcases from any tablet.
Whether an tablet is lost or an employee leaves the company, your files will never fall into the wrong hands.

Can I use my content offline?

Yes. Once synchronized content, you can use your tablet and open all your documents.

Do you offer training for administrator users?

Symmetryk is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. We also provide a great support system and video demonstrations on each module. If needed, we are happy to provide help for new administrators.

Can I publish specific content to selected groups?

As manager / administrator of the application, you can almost do everything:
• Create individualised privileges for super admins, admins, internal users and external agencies.
• Publish specific content to single users or groups
• Manage tablet passwords and wipe out lost tablets remotely.
• You will have visibility on latest synch and app version on every tablet in your fleet from the Symmetryk back office.
• You have the possibility of provisioning/de-provisioning through out of the box integration with Okta.

Is the Symmetryk platform compatible with all internet browsers?

Yes, you can connect to the Symmetryk back-office via Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, …

Where is my data stored and how secure is Symmetryk?

Symmetryk is Secure, durable, has a highly-scalable storage with Amazon S3, designed for 99.99% availability with data transfer over SSL and automatic encryption.
The Symmetryk+Okta integration brings full active directory synching and SSO between Symmetryk and your on-premise Active Directory.
High data transfer speeds, auto-scaling and load balancing with Amazon CoudFront and Elastic BeanStalk guarantees fast access regardless of location or number of simultaneous users.
Communications between server and device utilize SSL/TLS 1.2. Data stored at rest on the Symmetryk servers utilises 256 bit AES in Cipher Block Chaining mode with ESSIV.
